Power Integrations Engineer Power Integrations ModeratorError installing PI Expert/XLs update (8.5.5) Error 1935
When trying to update my PI Expert / XLs software with the latest 8.5.5 maintenance release I get an ‘Error 1935’ followed by ‘An error occurred during the installation of assembly component {5617BF49-9195—4C35-B9AD-F8D165DE25BB} HRESULT: 0X800700B7.

Can you try to install official MSXML4 redistributables from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=15697 prior to allying the patch.
Alternatively you can uninstall the entire PI expert software, download the setup for the newer version from the website and then this should work also.
