Continuous/Discontinuous Mode Hopping

I am currently using the DPA424 Flyback Controller. Unfortunately the device is jumping back and forth from continuous to discontinuous mode. I understand that maximum efficiency is why it is doing this, however my goal in this design is not necessarily the highest efficiency but the quality of the output voltage. The oscillations occur at a 350-400hz rate, and they cause a tremendous amount of ripple at the output and no amount of filtering can eliminate this at these frequencies. The irony is that once the output load is increased to a point where the device jumps into the continuous mode, the output voltages look great, and at this point the output load can be decreased and the device remains in the continuous mode. Unfortunately I don't know how to strap the device so that it will start in a continuous mode and remain there. Is this possible?
Thanks for your help.

Hi, From your description

Hi,
From your description seems like you have a conditional stability problem. To start with can you please send me your schematic of your design?
