While the EU's Code of Conduct on Effiiciency of External Power Supplies is voluntary, it's an important efficiency document in Europe, and the list of companies that have signed up is a veritable Who's Who of consumer electronics manufacturers. Last November, PI's Mr. Green went to Ispra, Italy to attend a meeting of the Code of Conduct working group, who intended to update the CoC.
