This course describes the steps necessary for troubleshooting and repairing a power supply that is producing unacceptable levels of audible noise. Possible causes are discussed and solutions are recommended. Take this course if your power supply is producing loud audible noise when tested in the final enclosure.

The Piezo effect on capacitors was an eye opener. I usually blamed the magnetics.
