Technology Has Saved Consumers:

How Big Is Your Share?

EcoSmart technology intelligently manages the flow of power into a device’s power supply, resulting in dramatic energy savings compared to older power supply technologies. Consumers and businesses have saved more than $3 billion on their electricity bills since 1998 by using products containing Power Integrations' EcoSmart ICs. These savings equate to approximately 30 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, an amount which, if produced by coal-burning power plants, would have resulted in approximately 20 million tons of carbon emissions – roughly equal to the annual emissions of three million automobiles.

Mr. Green Launches Efficiency Watch

In addition to his blog, Mr. Green is now publishing a quarterly newsletter to help engineers stay on top of the constantly-changing world of power supply standards. Topics include: changes in current efficiency programs, movement of proposed specs, and finalization and publication of new regulations.
